Greater Dayton Junior Rowing serves athletes in the Miami Valley who have an interest in the sport of Rowing. Our ultimate goal is to continue to offer unparalleled access and coaching to all those who are interested in Rowing. Our vision exceeds beyond providing exceptional rowing opportunities to all Junior Rowers. We strive to engender and instill commitment, dedication and work ethic while pursuing competition at the highest level.

What We Do

Are you ready to make the commitment? Rowing is one the most physically demanding sports. Did you know that rowing burns more calories than cross-country skiing, vigorous swimming, or running?  Are you ready to experience the original team sport?  There is nothing like it!

Learn To Row!

Are you interested in learning to row? We have learn-to-row sessions beginning both March 1st. We will have an informational meeting on Thursday, February 25th at 6:30 at Wegerzyn Gardens.  This program is geared toward athletes who are currently in 8th grade and above and who have an interest in learning to row and competing. Classes will be conducted at the from the Five Rivers Metropark at the Greater Dayton Boathouse. Contact us at 513.675.6567 for more details.
